How to connect four edi devices?

I can't get slackware to show the right amount of space on my mp3
players. It seems once it sees space used up it doesn't free it, even if
I delete it and the player shows the space as free. Mine is a Sansa e250
(SanDisk) if anyone has suggestions on that? :)
