Thanks for saying thanks. Speaking of thanks, thank you for the brochure
that you've put together. We need to get after that again.
Brian proposed to me a few minutes ago that he cover a different style of
bruchure at next week's meeting. We need to follow up with both and start
getting them put out.

Valid complaints and criticisms are welcome. We need to know if
something's broken. Complaints and criticisms are bug reports. We still
have limited resources, so don't expect something to get fixed just
because you pointed it out. On the other hand, we generally won't fix
things if we don't know they're broken.
PLUG only get things done because someone volunteers and puts in the time
to get something done. At the same time, some of our services need to be
reliable. I'm not laying blame ( I would have to start with me as I've
caused multiple outages ), but as a group we need to make sure the mailing
lists and web site are well maintained.
Not keeping those two in good shape interferes with attracting new members
and makes GNU/Linux and Free Software look bad.
Those of us who've been maintaining the services need to do a better job
of providing opportunities for others to help.
We also need people to follow up and help when they are given the
opportunity. Joomla! allowed multiple people to maintain the site.
Unfortunately we didn't get much consistent assistance. Consistent isn't
every day. A little bit of effort every couple weeks can go a long way.
ciao,
