Is it a USB reader?

I had a similar problem with a USB card reader and a ScanDisk Memory
stick. After trying things like running Windows drivers for it in Wine,
I
decided to try plugging it into the back USB ports instead of the front
ones, and suddenly, it started working!

I doubt this will help, but it would have been nice for me to know
before
installing stuff with Wine. :)
