where do old programmers go?

The ones that get sucked into management lose.  I resisted it many times but
finally gave up when I was told that sooner or later I would lose any future
growth in the company unless I took on the responsibility.  Biggest mistake
I ever made in my 60 years.  Stay happy doing real work!
