Firefox configuration management

I have my network configured this way and I run flash site in both IE and
Firefox with no problems.

  What if the request is made in Flash?  The proxy may or may not
handle such requests.  Now that web pages are far beyond simple port
80 connections proxy configuration becomes much more complex.
