    If there any particular reason you want to run a proxy server?
Multiple computers can share an Internet connection without one.
    Squid is the proxy server on Linux (http://www.squid-cache.org/).
Setting up a proxy server does take some security awareness or other
people can use your proxy as a redirector for their nefarious activities.
