Anyone know of a 'gimp' expert available for hire?

Not an expert, but here's a tip: Don't save web graphics like these as .jpg's! If you do, they will look like crap.

Specifically, I am looking for someone who can improve 
on the examples shown at the following link:

to achieve a photograph quality 24-carat gold shine 
similar to that shown in the example word "Super" 
and who can provide 'gimp' instructions on how to 
replicate that high-gloss or "wet-look" effect.
