Remove audio from video?

You comment prompted me to look around some more.  I found found that
from the main menu in Avidemux one can click Audio-->Main Track.  This
brings up a dialog to choose which the main track will be.  One of the
choices is "No audio"  Saved it out with Video and Audio filters set to
"Copy" and the resulting file has no sound.
