Have any of you used Dirvish with Samba Shadow Copy?

dirvish takes a bit of setup, but it can be the basis for a great backup
solution, IMHO. I use it for backing up my home systems and also at
work. I added a bit of scripting to create symlinks so that the past
state of my filesystems are available on line.

Here is a directory listing of my /backup directory.

> 20060402@ 20061001@ 20070225@ 20070408@ 20070414@ 20070420@
> 20060507@ 20061105@ 20070304@ 20070409@ 20070415@ 20070421@
> 20060604@ 20061203@ 20070311@ 20070410@ 20070416@ 20070422@

My full fs hierarchy exists under each date-named symlink as of that
date. If a file didn't change between snapshots, it shared between the
snapshots via hard links. It has come in handy when I have accidentally
removed or overwritten a file.
