Slow DVD write

Well!  It seems Konqueror is the problem.  I went into Gnome and used Nautilus and the write was extremely fast.

I'm not sure what file "browser" is available in KDE.

Any guidance much appreciated.

Also, set your speed on the burn dialog, make sure DMA is still enabled and 
you should be good to go. Also, when you burn the disc the first time, make 
sure you select multi-session in the burn dialog.

If you are NOT using K3B then you should be using K3B!!
