Know what, gcc just upgraded from 3.4.6 to 4.1.1, which according to this: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gcc-upgrading.xml It's a doozey. Just flatly says here you are required to do emerge -e system && emerge -e world to upgrade. I haven't done this with the -Os flag set, let's see what happens. -- Alexander
