Google Phoenix Update

I applied to Google last year and didn't even get an interview, just an
email telling me that they didn't want to have anything to do with me.
Maybe it was because I didn't use a gmail account. Or maybe it's
because my main job isn't in IT anymore or because my education is
smattered (is that a word?) all over the place. At any rate, I may give
Google another try at some time in the future, but I'm not holding my
breath. It sounds great, but there is obviously a lot that I need to
learn first.
