sry, yeah i read it. I also ran emerge --sync and emerge portage.
I then used kuruu to install some apps/games we use.
I normally use cli when I want to update or know specifically what I want.
However, i tend to use a gui when I'm not sure the package names.
That's why I keep popping into kuruu. I know I want gaim 2.0 beta 4 and some plugins,
but I don't know the package names for the plugins.
I did the same thing with yum & yumex on fedora. Or just download the code and compile
it myself.
