Domain search without squating?

You should either upgrade to a later version of whois, or use "whois -h
whois.pir.org example.org" to look up example.org's whois info.

When .org went to a different registrar a couple years ago, its registry
data went to a different whois server as well.  If the whois client
you're using doesn't know about the change, you won't be able to look it
up unless you specify the host.
