2 open source announcements, Sun & Adobe

Maybe everyone knows this already, but I haven't seen it brought up on  
the list yet, so I thought I'd mention it.

#1 Sun's released Java under the GPL.

#2 Adobe's donated their new ActionScript virtual machine to Mozilla.   
This could make future versions of Javascript on Firefox, and maybe  
Firefox itself, run quite a bit faster.

I heard about both of these on the podcast put out by  
linuxquestions.org.  I think it's pretty well done, for anyone looking  
for a 'Linux & open source' podcast.
