usb 2.0/ pci sound cards

I got the new cards but now the computer won't see my keyboard (and maybe mouse too).
Is it now looking for a USB Mouse/keyboard? If so could someone make me a serial-> USB Connector (keyboard) and a PS2-> USB Connector (mouse). I'll be at th eplug meeting tonight.
(I'm in the library now)
