add some names to your hosts file 
like this:

192.168.1.1    t34.avondale                     t34                  # network printer
192.168.1.2    challenger.avondale         challenger      # network storage device
192.168.1.3    cheiftain.avondale             cheiftain
192.168.1.4    mark_I.avondale                mark_I
192.168.1.5    schneider.avondale           schneider
192.168.1.6    saint_chamond.avondale  saint_chamond
192.168.1.7    renault.avondale               renault
