Gentoo and installfest

Check out a live gentoo cd called 'pentoo' if you'd like to test gentoo on
your system. It's also got lots of cool pen-testing apps and they offer a
mini-cd version called 'mpentoo'. Installing gentoo can be quite a job, but
if you are a control freak (or comp sci major) it's the only way to go!

Also, the package management system 'portage' is the best and if you crave
security you'll appreciate the hardened gentoo project.

I've had nothing but great experiences with the gentoo community and there's
always someone willing to help you (be sure to rtfm first, of course) and
there are others on this list who have helped me.

As much as I love gentoo, I got lazy and am running opensuse 10 on my
laptop. ;)

Ah ha, Ok, will not bother with Gentoo. I have
installed cdrom's before, so may skip coming or at
least dragging the system there.

May just 'rub' shoulders down there possibly later.

Remeber Katrina?
For several days, only hams could get out,
and talk to others dependably.

No Morse Code required for Technician class licensee's. Interested?
