For some unknown reason, Linksys decided to underclock the NSLU cpu at 
133Mhz (half its spec'ed 266MHz speed). Here's a link on how to restore 
the cpu to full speed.

Please note that I have done this myself, but it requires a soldering 
iron and a steady hand, not to mention voiding your warranty.
