kernel patches

There should be a MAINTAINERS file in the Documentation directory
of the kernel source. That should list who is maintaining what
portion of the kernel, and contact info. I haven't played too
much with git, so I do not know all of git's functionality and
whether it can provide what you are looking for. Jeff Garzik has
a guide to git on his website http://linux.yyz.us/git-howto.html .
Other than that probably the only way is scrounging through kernel.org
or watching lkml and associated lists for patches. I imagine some
people maintain their own websites relating to the patchsets they create.
