OT: Mac OSX

I think part of the reason they have tried to keep it restricted
to Mac hardware is support issues. They can control the number
of configurations they have to deal with to a fairly small number.
If they were to officially allow a customer to install OSX on any
x86 system, their support of OSX would get a lot more complex. There
are people wanting them to sell it w/o support. The other part of it
does stem from the fears leftover from allowing clones to be made in
the 90s, and any other paranoia that has existed regarding the issue
throughout the history of Apple.
