Mike Garfias will give us a sample application in the Catalyst web

"I am a veteran of the DotCom craze, where I worked for Network
Associates and a pair of startups that went broke (one was bought by NAI
before fading completely). I've been a QA engineer, a web hosting
sysadmin, and even done windows admin a few times."

SCALE: Dennis and Michael attended the fourth annual Southern California
Linux Expo at the Raddison LAX Hotel in Los Angeles, February 11th to
12th. SCaLE is a small regional conference that is big enough to
attract name speakers such as Chris DiBona (Google), Hans Reiser
(Namesys), Jono Bacon (LUG Radio), AAron Seigo (KDE) and Mark Spencer
(asterisk) and sponsorship from such companies as IBM, Google, Novell
and Linux Journal. All this makes for a big name conference experience
without the crowds and expense.

Presenters: Dennis Kibbe and Michael Crusoe

Dennis Kibbe has used Linux since 1998 and helps support PLUG's monthly
InstallFest program. Dennis also works with Eric Shubes meon
Seigontoring seniors on the new PLUG applications mail list.

"Economics And Open Source" by Joshua Zeidner

"I will go over the licenses and a outline a few things that pertain to
OSS and cost structures. It will be aimed at a wide audience( not just
IT managers )."
