Printer Recommendation

I generally avoid dead tree devices.

Recently my $gf purchased and HP1610. When she got it the scanner wasn't
working, but I tried it the other day and it worked just fine. Vanilla
Ubuntu.

Haven't tried that fax.

Printer's always worked just fine.
