I still have the boot floppy from Yggdrasil dated 1995-02 tacked on my 
bulletin board.  Eventually got slackware version "something" running as 
a replacement for a Lantastic server.

Ran Mandrake for years but recently switched to CentOS.  Mandrake 
kernels since 10.1 onward have a nasty habit of freezing, no matter what 
I've done.  Same hardware with CentOS works fine.
