Just bought a used iPAQ 4700, and it didn't occur to me until after I paid
for it and started playing with it that it might be an issue to get apps on
it.
Currently running Kanotix Linux (about 2 weeks old), on a Thinkpad R40.
Connecting via USB. According to Synaptic, I have SynCE installed, but bash
tells me it can't find synce-serial-config, or synce. I could care less
about actual syncing (email, office files, etc), but there are some programs
that I would like to load that would normally need ActiveSync to be
installed. How can I get around this without installing VMWare, XP, and
Activesync?
