AZSTRUT is also connected for proper disposal of dead stuff -- I've
certainly been encouraged to use them that way. On their main web page
they list the benefits of their program, ending with "... and benefits the
environment by diverting old equipment from our landfills." So I would
take it upon myself to disqualify broken equipment: I think they take it 
all.
