I am seeing the same symptoms. I´m running Fedora FC4 + KDE. The next
thing you will see is the mouse will start simulating a left button
press when ever it´s left over any button or any place a left button
will cause any action, such as showing a menu when on an empty
background screen.
I have found that going into KDE ¨Control Center¨ and setting
¨Peripherals¨, Këyboard, and ¨Mouse¨ perameters to ¨ Default¨ clears the
problem temporarly.
I can´t really tell what is happening but I think Xorg and KDE are not
¨playing nice together¨
Are you runing Xorg or X11R6?
