I have one machine that I have Linux and Windows installed on it. Where
/dev/hdc would be I have one of those removable hard drive trays. I
have two hard drives to put in there. One has Linux on it and the other
I use for backups. In CMOS the machine tries to boot from the cd/dvd
first, then from the secondary master, then the primary master. So when
I put in the drive that has Linux installed on it; the machine boots
from that. One could always do the same, but in reverse to occasionally
play games under Windows on a machine that normally is a Linux box.
