Wife don't trust me!

She wants a new distro on her computer. I can drag it by bus/bicycle to the affair or maybe get someone to haul me and it down there complete with LCD monitor and mouse so everything just 'flies' when we get home.

So anyone willing anytime Saturday to haul me and her puter/keyboard/moose/monitor down to the installfest, please email me off list. When/if anyone does, I will re to list.

She just wants, I think---best I can figure out, a stable distro with KDE. She hates Gnome and ubuntu....sorry ubuntu lovers. I have cd of pclinuxos .93a big daddy to go. So should be just a matter of fighting the battle of the boot loaders and splitting hd. She says she will cdrom backup/copy important stuff in case of crash. 

P3-850 top of line gateway in summer 2k w/512m 30gb etc. 

I am using last years pclinuxos and love it. Might also drag mine down and get the boot loader (lilo) to dual boot both that are on it straightened out so it sees the newer one also.
