OT: Spare CPU and MB? $

Does anyone have a spare motherboard and processor. Looking for something in the 1.5 to 2.5 Ghz range. I have a gig of 266Hhz DDR ram to use with it.
Willing to pay $30 for 2.5Ghz athlon xp or P4, down to $10 for 1.5Ghz duron or celeron. Price is negotiable of course.

My main system died a few weeks ago. It was running fine, windows had a blue screen. On reboot, I got nothing (black screen). I tried swapping out video cards with known working AGP cards, pulled all non-needed peripherals, pulled out ram put in known working sticks, never got a . I don't have a spare motherboard or proc to test with, but have narrowed it to one or both of those that died. I'm reasonably certain that the gig of 266Mhz DDR ram is still good. 
I've been struggling by with my old 450MHz system, but it makes my programming work dreadfully slow. I'd rather not drop a hundred plus bucks on a cheap system right now, as I'd rather put that to better use buying a good system in the spring (planning to get an AMD X2 with a gig of DDR2). I don't have the money to buy that system now. I just need something to get me through the next semester of programming classes.
