[OT] Vonage vs. Cox

In my opinion Vonage is O.K. for residential, where I use it. There are
some occasional drops, but most of the time(95%) is up and running. In a
commercial envirnoment you have to make sure you have a "guaranteed"
bandwidth. But again, it depends who your ISP is and how congested is
the network segment you are in. If you plan on using the services in a
commercial environment I would recommend you not to switch completely
until you are sure the service is reliable.

Subject: [OT] Vonage vs. Cox
A little while ago, someone (I believe Dan Lund) noted that they had
dumped
their Cox telephone service in favor of Vonage.
We're considering doing the same and are wondering if anyone out there
has
comments/input on making that switch.
How is Vonage for reliability/service/quality? Do the wireless phones
seem to
work?
Thanks!
