installfest.

I suggest your 'answer' would be to go and have help
installing there. 

BACKUP ANY IMPORTANT INFO to cdroms or other places
beside the hard drive before tinkering with the hd.

The instructors of any class always want people to be
'on the same page' bookwise/os-wise. That is why they
want you to use fedora (it is probably 'his' favorite
flavor and he really doesn't know the others well
enough to teach them correctly), which is downloadable
from the internet.

Besides, debian based Knoppix uses 'different' flavors
of packages with different procedures and names for
the packages (in many instances) than red hat based
Fedora does. They both will do the job, but trying to
figure out which 'Name' to use to do the job could end
up being harder than the class isself!!! That is it in
a nutshell.

Cyclists should expect and demand safe 
accommodation on our public roads, 
just as does every other user.  

Nothing more is expected. 

Nothing less is acceptable!
