vpn

I'm trying to setup a vpn for a client that uses the poptop pptpd.
I can connect to the machine and ssh to it/etc but the connection won't 
route from there (can't ping other machines using that one.)
It's likely one line in a config file somewhere.. Has anyone does this 
before?
