I am interested in opinions regarding the formation and charter of the
The Open Invention Network (OIN).  Josef Lowder mentioned the topic on

Is this good, bad, or indifferent for Linux?  Why?  How is OIN different
than work done by Open Source Development Labs (OSDL)?  Will OIN be
successful at acquiring and sharing patents?
