Will anyone be there who could help me set up my mail server?

I'm running Debian Sarge.  Apache/PHP/etc configuration is no problem 
for me, but I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to mail.  I have 
Exim 4 installed, and it appears to be running, but I must have the 
configuration wrong because I can't receive any emails.

Do I need to bring a monitor, or are there some I could borrow?  It's 
not too huge of a deal to bring one, but if there are any there it's one 
less heavy thing to load in the car.
