Citrix VPN and Linux client?

While my experience with Citrix is extremely limited, I do know that 
there is, indeed, a Linux client.  HP uses them on some of their 
Linux-based Thin Clients.  We never had a Citrix server to test it out 
with, hence the limitation.  According to this website:

They have the client downloads for Linux in zip and rpm format.  I am 
sure that alien could provide a debianized package as well. ;)

As for functionality, that's something that I throw my hands up in the 
air with, but it did seem to have a similar entrypoint as rdesktop, 
asking for an IP address and port to connect to and so on.

OpenVPN ( http://openvpn.sf.net ) is also a terrific VPN server/client 
solution that uses cryptographic key signatures to insure cross-platform 
reliability.  It would be trivial to spread a shared subnet out over the 
same clients.  Citrix and OpenVPN share a few things in common: a) they 
both utilize SSL b) they both transport TCP/IP, while in contrast, 
OpenVPN is free and Citrix has an initial wallet-draining function.  YMMV.
