New Mandriva 2006 install has no GUI

Not strange at all.  The install portion uses the generic Vesa (sp?) driver 
and then tries to install the best driver for for the card it thinks you 
have.

It's helpful to have a list of your hardware so you can compare it with what 
Mandriva finds during install and make corrections before the install starts.
