Hi George,
Playing the role of the devil's advocate here, we know that certification
and licensing assures nothing. On a basic level, well, I was hit by a truck
six years ago while crossing a street on foot; the driver of that truck was
licensed! On a more directly relevant subject, I have seen many many
"certified" people (CCNA, CCNP, MCSE...) who also didn't know what they
were doing!
