On May 16, 2003 the newest PLUG and future ASULUG member was born, Nyssa
Cordelia Lewis. Unfortunately, the birth was not trouble free. In her
first day she was subjected to a cesarean birth and surgery to correct
an intestial birth defect. Currently, she is still in the Neonatal ICU
ward at Desert Samaritan. With some luck she will be coming home next week.
My wife and I are now looking at over $6000.00 in hospital bills that
will not be covered by insurance. In order to pay these bills without
undue hardship on my other three children, I am turning to the Linux
community.
Instead of begging for donations, I have put my talents with older
hardware to use. I have created a line of art deco PCs for sale. The
PCs are wall mounted with most of the componets exposed. Sort of like a
visual PC. The hardware ranges from 5x86 class to K6 class. They are
priced from $50.00 to $125.00. I have put up pictures, tech specs and a
more complete story here:

I can also do custom work with new componets on request. If you are
interested, please email me off list.
BTW - I will not accept cash donations. My father taught me to ask for
help, but never a handout. If you want to help and do not want to buy a
system, I could still use donations of older hardware.
If this was inappropriate for the list, please accept my apologies. I
will not repost this again. Thank you all.
