Small but nagging problem

Yes. This all is pointing to the sound card. I theorize that having both
cables plugged in (possible?) are canceling eachother out.
Again, winBLOWS is using digital extraction. That is, it reads DATA over
the IDE bus and plays it through the "Wave" or in linux PCM output.
