Linux at ASU Conference?

Interesting. However, it seems that they are just trying to keep a handle on security of their network. I certainly would expect them to want to know what is attached to their network and that it has some minimum amount of security configured.

What about othere OSes? I assume they have to be reported too. If not, they are being one sided for some reason, good or bad.

Freedom is not appreciated at ASU.

The college of engineering REQUIRES linux boxes to be registered. An
unregistered linux box will have its network connection shut off if
detected.

Handguns are not registered in Arizona.
