I will contact UoP to see what works for them. I'll check on what facilitie=
s
we can have available. I will go on the presumption that we're doing a Sat
event as we have in the past.

ASULUG is tentatively planning an on-campus InstallFest for Saturday,
05Apr2003. That works for them due to spring break and finals. I'd say we
want to have our event on a different day. Having it about the same time
might be good, though, because the groups can combine promotional efforts.

The UoP campus we're looking at is in south Tempe, just off I-17.

Wow, if get this much volunteering when I get sick, I might have to "fall
ill" a few times a year ;-).

I'd like to suggest we have two presentation tracks. One would be a
shortened version of the class that Michelle and I are currently teaching.
The other would be a variety of topics. If we have rooms and presentations
we can go for more tracks ;-).

The have a group that sell sandwiches on class nights. We can find out if
they can be there for the InstallFest. There are several fast food joints
within a half mile of the campus. We can seek donations. I would like to
have some sort of food available for volunteers who show up early to setup
and for those that stay late to help take down.
