Book about performance tuning?

Has anyone seen any good books re: performance tuning Linux systems? I =
have a Solaris book which discusses different parameters which can be =
set using 'ndd', but that doesn't help much in Linux. ;)
I'd be really interested in a thorough breakdown of all of the sysctl =
parameters in /proc and their exact function so that I can better tune =
them for tasks given.
