While I don't profess to know a lot about it I do know that the signal a door opener sends can be snooped and programmed into another transmitter for use in opening it. Also, sometimes a radar detector can be set off by a door remote transmitting and some detectors also transmit as a way of searching for or jamming radar guns. Just my $.02 Cliff
