What I mean by garbage is 6000 entries where the userid entry is. It will have about 14 zeros followed by a number such as 3 for example.

One other question is logrotate when left in cron.daily keeps moving or deleting my squid logs. For me to have a 24 hour period of data I have to remove logrotate from cron.daily. I am not quite sure how to have logroate do what is usually does with all files except for the ones in /var/log/squid/
