CGI magic help

Thanks all.  The problem was actually in the script itself.  If I had 
the code immediately after:

#!/usr/bin/perl
print <<EOF;
Content-type: text/html

EOF

I got the error except in Windows.


#!/usr/bin/perl

print <<EOF;
Content-type: text/html

EOF

was fine.
