I guess that the argument must be made that, you are not buying software....
You are buying the *LICENSE* to use it. That *LICENSE* has limits. If you
don't like the *LICENSE*, don't buy it... Or steal it.

Isn't that the purpose behind Linux? 

Personally, I like some of Microsoft's applications. So, I'll buy the
*LICENSE* to use them.
