Converting a MS Frontpage website to standard HTML

No Access database, but yes, the site does have the funky frontpage 
extensions. What I am really looking for is some "how to" on converting 
the site from the Frontpage proprietary stuff to standard HTML,  along 
with recommendations for a WYSIWYG HTML editor that is Linux compatible.
