I also recommend the Cisco 678.  It is pretty versatile and easy to upload
new firmware.  I use them with both Qwest and SBC/ASI DSL with no problems.
If only they used the standard Cisco IOS instead of CBOS.

One minor point The Cisco 678 is capable of being EITHER CAP, DMT, or
DMT lite depending upon which Bios is loaded. I have available all three
versions if required.
