Big problem with my box.

Bad power supply.  I have had the same symptoms with some of my servers
recently...I replaced the power and they were good as new.

---RANT---
I replace more power supplies than any other part including hard drives and
keyboards.  It seems like after 2 years of service they go bad.  This year
alone I have had to replace 3 power supplies.  Generic systems seem to come
with cheap power.  To get anything that will consistently last, you have to
pay $75 or more.

Lately it has been turning itself off. Worse than that it won't let me turn
it back on. Sometimes when I unplug and plug it in it will turn on.... but
not always. Every time I tried to turn it on yesterday it wouldn't. Today
when I tried it did turn on. Then, after turning it off, it wouldn't
restart.
What does it sound like to you?
I hope it is okay to bring it to the meeting tomorrow night.

The prelude to this was the modem not working properly.  Maybe it is
related!
